Because whenever I go to Avatar forums, the second I mention I'm Zutara people start bashing me and calling me stupid for liking the ship. Seriously, bashing just makes you a jerk, it does not prove that your ship is better and we should abandon ours. It's what made me run screaming from the Avatar fandom to the Heroes and Doctor Who fandom.
Don't bash a person's ship, whetever it's Zutara, Kataang, Jetara, Jetko, Tokka, Sukka, Taang, Soko, Jinko, Maiko or any of the other weird and wonderful ships out there.

I agree it can get pretty annoying when people bash your favorite couples but some people are stupid and mean I myself am a Maiko fan but I don't hate any couples I'm just indifferent in all except Suki/Sokka and Kataang!!
Everyone has their tastes and if you support a couple we can't question or badmouth anyone or even think of telling you to give up or it's hopeless to like the pairing I like crack pairings as well and I know they'll never happen but it'll always exist in your mind and will always be part of you!!
I feel your pain when they say that!!

Not ALL people in the shipping war do so. I don't bash people just cause they like Zutara. I wouldn't bash them unless they start bashing me.

Most of my friends are Kataang, but they like the support pairings better so they leave my Zutara alone. :P Plus, a ton of them have admitted that Zutara has the hottest fanart. xD

I'm more for Jetara myself, but I'm totally open to any other pairing :D I totally hate when people do this, too. It's so stupid. It's your opinion, that's okay. Just don't force it on other people. We're allowed to like that we like!! Thanks for speaking out for all of us. ^_^
